My Articles

Here is a list of some of my articles on patent / IP topics. I'd like to highlight the oldest article on the list, “A Property Rights Theory of the Limits of Copyright,” which I think is one of my best; it provides a theory of the idea / expression dichotomy in copyright law, as well as a theory of the relationship between patent and copyright.
